Skunks & Opossums

Skunk and Opossum Removal – Control – Trapping

Skunks
Skunks are nocturnal and will feed on almost anything, including worms, grubs, fruit, veggies, seeds, garbage, and pet food. Skunks can create many problems for the homeowner like smell, burrows, lawn damage, dumped garbage cans, and rabies.

All About Bats & Wildlife receives many calls with complaints that a skunk is living or dead in client homes. Houses breathe and when a skunk has a confrontation with another animal, they spray. This mustard-like liquid absorbs into the foundation so strongly you can taste it. The scent passes through the air ducts and fills the house. Contact us today for the effective removal of skunks!
Opossum

Opossum

Opossums are omnivores and will eat almost anything, including garbage. They are opportunistic in that they will occupy already existing dens left by another animal. Opossums climb very well but move very slow. They enjoy living under sheds, decks, or crawl spaces. Opossums create problems by leaving droppings on decks and walkways, by stealing food, knocking over garbage cans, and carrying parasites.

The opossum is quite a unique animal. It is our version of the kangaroo, just not as cute. Opossums are marsupials, which mean the females carry their young in a pouch. The can have 12 to 13 young that they carry and feed for quite a while after birth. Opossums are nocturnal animals and have an amazingly short lifespan (approximately three years).
